Tiger Woods let his frustrations get the better of him when he swore three times during a disappointing first round at the US PGA Championship on Thursday.
The former world No 1 shot a three-over 75 on the opening day of the year's final major at Whistling Straits and lies nine shots adrift of leader Dustin Johnson.
And the American looks certain to face a heavy fine having yelled 'What the f*** is wrong with you?' after leaving a long putt short on the third hole.
Woods also used the f-word after poor shots on the eighth and 16th holes and his comments were relayed on the PGA Tour's webcam.
A USPGA spokesperson said: 'We were not aware of the alleged comments as Tiger was not part of the live broadcast.
'We have not received any complaints, but if we do so they will be investigated.'
Woods also dropped the f-bomb at the Masters earlier this year. After a wayward tee shot during his third round at Augusta, he said: 'What the f*** have I done?'
After his round on Thursday, Woods admitted his putting had let him down as he faces a battle to make the cut.
