Contrary to rumours gaining momentum on the social media, President Muhammadu Buhari did not shut down the Aso Villa chapel. Church service was held in the chapel today with acting Chaplain Pastor Malomo presiding.

The topic   of the service was 'Securing The Glorious Destiny', with Bible readings taken from 2 Sam. 3.2 and James 1: 1-5.

Speaking to journalists after the church service Malomo dismissed the rumours which he attributed to mischief makers. 'President Buhari never ordered the closure of the Villa chapel' he affirmed.
