Asa


The Jailer crooner Nigerian artiste,  Bukola Elemide  popularly  known as ‘Asa’ is a year older. The soul singer turned 33 today.

Aṣa who was born in Paris, France to Nigerian parents met ace music producer Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo in 2014. Cobhams later became her musical partner and producer.

She won the distinguished French Constantin Award after her debut album, ‘Asa’ was released in 2007.

Her second album, Beautiful Imperfection, dropped in October 2010, and her 3rd studio album ‘Bed Of Stones‘ was released in 2014.
