So far 46,770 Nigerian pilgrims had  been transported to Saudi Arabia, says the Head of Madinah Operations of  National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, Dr Bello Tambuwal, Wednesday.

Tambuwal who spoke to journalists in Madinah affirmed  that the on-going exercise would be completed on schedule.

He also announced that  five Nigerian pilgrims had died in the Holy land:  four of the deceased died in Madinah and one in Macca.

He added that  NAHCON had established two clinics in Madinah to provide medical treatment to the pilgrims.

'' The clinics were stocked with drugs. We brought some from Nigeria while we bought some here.''  (NAN)
