News filtering reports  a massive explosion at the Aba-Owerri Road,  Umungasi, Aba. An eye wtness account reports that a  trailer- tanker containing gas exploded and ignited fire around the area

 The cause of the explosion could not be immediately established,but there are indications the vehicle could have suffered brake vehicle and smashed in an object resulting in the explosion.

Number of casualties could not be immediately established.
