As the screening ministerial nominees commences Tuesday, Saraki has tweeted rules that will guide the screening process and ensure it passes the fine points of transparency, equity and justice. It will be open to all Nigerians, and will be devoid of sentiments, he tweeted. Here are some of the guidelines as found on his twitter arm, Bukola saraki@bukolasaraki and the Nigerian Senate@NGR Senate, which he uses interchangeably.
i. The ministerial screening will also be in adherence to the provisions spelt out in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
ii. I have reiterated severally, the screening of ministerial nominees will be handled by the Senate with all sense of responsibility.
iii. The Senate will be fair to all and be guided by the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.
iv. The ministerial screening will be devoid of any sentiment. Most importantly, it will not be an opportunity for anybody to settle any scores.
v. The Senate is equally eager to make a positive difference in our polity and Nigerians will be able to judge us on our actions.

ix The ministerial screening will be in the best interest of Nigerians. After the screening, we hope that Nigerians will be able to judge us on whether we acted in their best interest or not.
