Nigeria's Eaglets youngest at Chile 2015

Defending champions Nigeria are the youngest team at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup with an average of 16.42 years.
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have won this World Cup a record four times – 1985, 1993, 2007 and 2013.

They open the World Cup on Saturday against USA in Santiago.

Kick-off time is 9pm Nigerian time.


Hosts Chile, who are in the same first round as Nigeria, have picked a mix of players between 16 and 17. Coach Miguel Ponce has named 13 players who are 17.

Their average age is 16.6 years.

Germany will parade the oldest squad in Chile with an average age of 17.0 years ahead of Russia, Belgium and Mexico.
