The Super Eagles will depart for the second leg of their
African Nations Championship qualifier against Burkina Faso on Friday,
October 23, the Nigeria Football Federation has announced.
The
squad and officials were scheduled to jet out to Ouagadougou in two days
time but African football governing body, Confederation of African
Football, has approved that the game should take place on Sunday instead
of Saturday.
The home - based national team continue to prepare for the game against the West African opponents in Port Harcourt.
Goals
from Bature Yaro and Gbolahan Salami secured a 2 - 0 win for Nigeria in
the first leg held at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
