Despite the incarceration of Daniel Kanu, the facilitator of Radio Biafra, the outlawed station is back on air 
and transmitting on  11600 khz at 25 meter band. 

 It will be recalled that the Nigeriann broadcasting regulatory authority, Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, NBC
had tried unsuccessfully to jam the station, maintaining it was not licensed to transmit to Nigerian listeners
