* Obaseki

The Edo State chapter  of the  Peoples Democratic Party Sunday  asked the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for the September 10, 2016  governorship election, Mr. Godwin Obaseki to explain his role in the  N5.5 billion fraudulent deal involving  a company where he holds a substantial share.

The party's statement followed a petition on the floor of the House of Representaties  seeking investigation of the APC candidate.

Edo state chairman of PDP,  Chief Dan Orbih in a press conference therefore urged  Edo people to be wary of persons who criminally appropriate company assets as they will do same to government's assets.

Chief  Orbih displayed documents from the Corporate Affairs Commissions, CAC, the petition to EFCC and many others to substantiate the allegations  of fraudulent behavior against the APC candidate.

Orbih urged the  APC candidate to clear himself of the alleged criminal offence before embarking on campaigns as the allegation are  too weighty to ignore.
