Tuface, aka Innocent Idibia's turnaround on the "iStandWithNigeria" protest march has brought Nigerians reminiscing about Fela Anikulapo-Kuti who in his life time was a one-man protest squad against dictatorship, corruption and bad leaders.

Fela, a maestro at his art - music, was also politically incorrect. No person
or issue was a taboo in his compositions. He was one with the man in the street.  He thumbed his nose at the powers that be and the establishment every opportunity he got.

Fela drew the suffering masses to his side through his music and lifestyle.
They loved him and his music

For backing out on the proposed protest march -past, Nigerian has taken to the twitter to tell Tuface  what they feel about him and his decision to pull out of the protest march.

There can only be one FELA. #thank_you for making us think for a second you could step into his shoes then proving who you really is.

In FELA's time, we had youths who were ready to fight for their future. In Tuface's days, we have youths who prefer #BBNaija to their future

Anybody wey Fela call out for his song, check their life. Ultimate zombies, they can never change. What a democracy.

Fela fought.
He protested.
He lost his mother.
He died.
And Nigeria didn't change.

Fela lost his property, freedom and mother to the Nigerian struggle. What did you guys do? You voted in the man who did it all to him.

Fela sang about Obasanjo, Buhari and Babangida almost 40 years ago.
40 years later, these men are still in the corridors of power.

The kind of confidence Fela must have had back then man. They battered him, even killed his mom. Mans still kept challenging the govt ALONE.

It is acutely distressing how some young people reason. In the midst of it all, some have made actually this 'Fela vs 2Face'. Pitiful.

Having the 'tenacity' to impregnate multiple women like Fela does not mean your balls are as big as Fela's. 👌👌👌 #IStandWithNigeria

But look at our black leaders! Take a look at them all dressed up in their regalia of corruption & greed. Fela Anikulapo Kuti was right.
