Although the alleged decomposing body suspected to be that of the kidnapped DPO could not be identified by his family members but residents of Agbor axis who moved into the bush where they claimed he was found, gnashed their teeth and cried profusely without saying a word. Mr. Mbalu, was kidnapped few weeks ago by yet unidentified gunmen on his way from Agbor to Asaba who blocked him and disarmed before whisking away to an unknown destination. It was gathered that the kidnappers suspected to be Fulani herdsmen had established contact with the family members of the victim with a demand of N100 million to set him free and later reduced it to N20 million, N5 million before they suddenly stop their contact. When contacted, the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), DSP Andrew Aniamaka, said he is not aware.
