The Police in Benin Cit have confirmed the arrest of two persons in connection with the death of three persons suspected to have died of generator fume in Edo State on Sunday.

The deceased, two females and a male were found death in an apartment located at  Agharase Adu street, off Sapele Road, Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was gathered that two other occupants of the apartment who went for a party  found them stone dead at about 3am on Sunday upon returning from the party.

When Theledgerng.com  visited the area he observed that the house was deserted by the occupants except a security dog that was docile.

A source in the area told our reporter in confidence that the police have arrested two occupants and that one of them was arrested alongside his  laptop.

He said the  two female who died in the apartments were said to have been students of Auchi Polytechnic, who came to club with the suspects. 

" It was when those arrested came back from the party and forced the door opened after several knocking that they discovered them dead. All other occupants have deserted the compound.," he said.

The Edo State Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Moses Nkombe Moses who confirmed the arrest said they are helping in the investigation.

He said the two female deceased were student of Auchi Polytechnic while two suspects arrested were those who invited the two female students to the house.
