* Osinbajo  assenting to the 2017 budget bill
The acting President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo Monday in a tweet confirmed that he has signed the 2017 Budget into law.

 Prof Osinbajo who tweeted on his twitter arm @ProfOsinbajo, states:

 'I just signed 2017 Budget into law. It's an important milestone in our economic recovery & growth plan laid in April by President Buhari'

 The tweet over two hours ago  is being devoured by Nigerians, attracting over 300 comments, 1865 re-tweets and over 1,900 likes.

 The subject is already  trending on twitter as #Budget2017 .

 Prof Osinbajo during the event at 4.40pm, remarked: ''The bleakness of recession is about to witness the uplifting dawn of abundance'' 

  A tweet by Dr. Joe Abah mirrored the expectations of Nigerians thus: 

 'So, now that #Budget2017 has become law, what changes? Essentially, Capital budget of N2.1 Trillion can now be released, asap'

 Comments on the acting President's twitter arm  varied from outright critical reactions to applause plus criticisms of the APC-led Federal Government of Nigeria.

 Some were poignant questions troubling the man on the streets like Alex@LordLexie: ''Please educate us on the budget year. What is the start and end date of the Nigerian budget calendar?''

 Some like KenoxSantiago@KennySantiago queries: ''So what happened from Jan-May 2017? Who were salaries paid? Was the country on standstill? I need to understand your point of view better''

 The ceremony was witnessed by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara,, amongst other top government officials.
