Senator Hope Uzodinma will deliver the keynote address at this year's NUJ Abuja Press Week with the theme: Journalism and the Nationalism Question, says comrade Victorsen Agbensen.
Agbensen, Chairman of the press week committee told theledgerng.com that Sen. Uzodinma's leadership qualities and outstanding legislative contributions to the nascent democracy influenced his choice as the keynote speaker.
He further added that an international diplomat and businessman, Ambassador Douglas Owen-Ali is also expected as a Guest Speaker at the event where the FCT minister, Mallam Muhammed Bello would play the role of chief host
Another distinguished speaker expected at the event include the Kaduna state Governor, mallam Nasir El-Rufai who will speak on restructuring and the way forward for the nation.
Other feature of the event include presentation of awards to various individuals and organizations that have excelled in different fields.
The Press Week lecture , dinner and award nite is scheduled for 5pm, October 28, 2017 at Sheraton Hotels and Towers Abuja.
It is expected that the annual event would attract economic and political experts as well as professionals and intellectuals from within and outside the country.
