Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has wiped the tears of communities continually marginalised by successive administrations since 1999, wrote elated Hon Chijioke Edeoga on his social media arm Tuesday.

Edeoga, Commissioner for Local Government Affairs rising from the weekly State Executive Council meeting could not hold back tears of joy as he announced to the world that one of the highlights of the meeting was the approval by Gov  Ugwuanyi of the sum of N1.3 billion for the flag off of the first phase of the rehabilitation and construction of  Eha Amufu-Nkalagu road.

“....history was made today,  13th February 2018 at Executive Council chamber of Enugu state when the inimitable, incomparable and enigmatic governor of Enugu state Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi approved the sum of 1.3 billion naira for the flag off of  the construction of the first phase of the rehabilitation and construction of the road starting simultaneously from the Nkalagu boundary and the gate of the  Federal  College of Education...” wrote a clearly overjoyed Edeoga on his  Facebook wall.

Edeoga, former Special Assistance to the President on National Assembly Matters,  further adds: “I urge you to please pray continually for Governor  Ifeanyi 
Ugwuanyi and thank him through any medium available to you for wiping the tears of a vital people continually marginalised by successive administrations especially since 1999”, and promised to post updates on the flag off of the construction works on the road.
