The Senior Pastor of ECWA Goodnews Church, Minna Reverend Philip Weishe, has beamon the injustice meted at Christians during efforts to obtain the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in Niger State.

Weishe  said on Sunday when former Niger state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Jonathan Vatsa and his family had a thanksgiving service in Minna to thank God for the period he served as Commissioner that without the PVCs Christians can not be actively involved in 2019 elections.

While expressing disappointment over the way some clerics are treated in Nigeria by the government, Weishe said "we have a problem, most of you that are still in power should take note. I know after saying this they will look for me or Pastors who speak the truth for arrest."

The man of God lamented that "it is true that PVC registration is ongoing but the problem is segretion in the process. When you get there you are either delayed or given one reason or the other. For you to be registered is difficult.

"I want to believe that the government is for all of us, and if it is for us all, then we demand equal treatment. Those of you that are still there should talk to the people responsible for the PVC. Otherwise we will pray o. And if we pray the machines of the injustice will spoil.

"We need equal justice and fairness, enough is enough. We need equal treatment."

In a similar vain, former Commissioner, Vatsa called on Nigerians to take advantage of the PVC registration, adding that, no amount of prayers would bring the choice leaders.

According to him "there would be no need to talk about bad or good governance if you do not get your PVC. For us to have our voices is to be armed with the PVC which is our only weapon that will help us vote for our preferred candidate."
