Ubani may have delivered the first nail to Abia Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu's
dimming political star. Finally.

"Yes. I will not be serving this time",  Ubani, former Commissioner of Works replied tersely to www. theledgerng.com questions regarding issues as he began to trend on social media over allegations that he has rejected his nomination as second term commissioner.

Earlier, unofficial Government House, Umuahia sources has dismissed
the story as " Just rumours. Someone conjuring stories....

 What is happening exactly in Abia State? Recall, Ubani between 2015-2019 was Gov Ikpeazu's right hand man. Roads reconstruction and rehabilitation, especially in Aba, Abia's thriving commercial metropolis was among Ikpeazu's  Priority Focal Areas.

Incidentally, both Ikpeazu and Ubani fell down flat on delivering quality rehabilitated
roads either to the Aba Senatorial district constituency in particular - where both hails from -  or to Abians in general.
