The 17 LGAs of Abia State has received a total of N2,935,789,672.15 from the Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC being revenue earned in August, but shared as September 2019 disbursement

A breakdown of the amount shows as follows:

Gross statutory total  =   N2,335,228,337.06

VAT                                =      N514, 746,880.64

FOREX Eq. Acct           =         N74,398,412.60

Rec. Excess Bank charges  =  N7,503,611.37

The three top LGA with highest allocations include Aba South LGA with N253,521,603.26 got the highest disbursement, followed by Umuahia North LGa with N204,027,644.57, and Ohafia LGA with  N193,208,731.64
