"I am very proud and encouraged by your phenomenal attainments, even as you ascend the pinnacle of academic achievements with the conferment of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology on you", states Rep Sam Onuigbo in a congratulatory letter to the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Umuahia, Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi

Onuigbo, member, House of Representatives representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency in the letter maintained that Prof Onyebuchi have displayed uncommon tenacity and focus thus the accompanying phenomenal achievements.

"As the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, a great deal of improvement is being  witnessed in the way that important institution is now run, and for this, I also commend you.  

"You have not only improved the infrastructure of the hospital but have also improved it in terms of its core mandate of healthcare which has seen it even undertake such important healthcare tasks as kidney transplant", Rep Onuigbo further added

" As my constituent, I am very proud and encouraged by your phenomenal attainments.On behalf of myself, my family, and the good people of great Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency, I congratulate you and wish you well in all your future endeavours", the lawmaker concluded in the letter he signed personally.

Prof Onyebuchi, an alumni of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons was recently awarded  Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, by the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo, Ebonyi State.
