The Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC),
says it will create new electoral wards in the various LGAs


This is in line with the power conferred on the Commission by Section 6(1) of Abia State Local Government Laws of No. 5 of 1999 and law No. 2 of 2006.

 

A statement signed by ABSIEC Chairman, Mkpa Agu Mkpa says, communities and local government areas who wishes to be constituted in electoral Wards in the forth coming exercise, are to visit the Commission’s headquarters at Ogurube Layout, Umuahia between the hours of 9am to 4pm Mondays to Fridays, starting from Monday, November 15, 2021.
