Chief John O Kalu


Abia State  Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu and other top government officials will today, Monday meet with all traders temporarily displaced in New  Market (Ahia Ohuru) along Ngwa Road, Aba.

A release from the Ministry of Trade and Investment,  and signed by its Public Relations Officer  Mrs Lucky Meregini states that  the meeting which kicks off by 12 noon at 

 Westgate Hall, Hotel Du Golf, 1-3 Margaret Avenue, Old GRA, Umungasi Aba, will deliberate of issues pertaining to the ongoing redevelopment  at the market.

Those expected at the meeting include affected traders in Lines 1, 2 and 3; Market committee members of Ngwa Road Market and the Managing Director of Peacock Urban Regeneration Corporation Ltd
