Ikuku-Oma Apostles, the grassroots foot soldiers for the Speaker of Abia House of Assembly in Ikwuano LGA today took a firm organisational structure with the inauguration of its ten wards and LG Executives at Isi-Ala - Oboro, the LG headquarters.

"Ikwuano LGA has always been a front-line supporter of the vision and mission  of Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji. 


"The Ikuku-oma Apostle's structure in Ikwuano has remained formidable, fearless, and rugged throughout its existence and will continue to remain resolute in its course", said Mr Sunday Ikpeka, the Coordinator, Ikuku-oma Apostles, Ikwuano chapter, in his opening remarks.

Advancing reasons why the Abia Speaker is  loved and admired by Abians, the Director-General, Ikuku-oma Apostles, Mr  Prince Okpanku, maintained that the "Rt Hon. Chinedum Orji came into the Abia political space to the admiration of teeming youths whose lives have been positively touched through his philanthropy. Beyond his legislative duties, he has been very instrumental in the attraction of people-oriented projects scattered all-over Abia State, particularly the ongoing construction of mini-stadiums across all LGA's, the attraction of the construction and rehabilitation of roads, empowerment of the less privileged, facilitation of employment of  citizens into Federal and State MDAs,  training of constituents in ICT, the building of residential houses for widows and widowers, amongst others

"This inauguration today is a thing of oy because everything that concerns Ikwuano LGA always burns in the heart of the Speaker. Ikwuano has been a major supporter of his vision, and we believe these newly inaugurated ward executives will be a positive extension of the Speaker's vision",  he affirmed 

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the event, the House of Assembly aspirant, Dr David Onyenucheya described the Abia Speaker as a "Pragmatic, pro-people leader who consistently puts the people first. "Rt Hon Orji deserves all the support from us for his next political journey, he has excelled in the assignment given to him so far and we believe his next port of call would provide him with more and better opportunities to attract developmental projects to the people  and propose  pro-good governance laws"

The ward executives thereafter took their oaths and were officially inaugurated. 

In attendance were the State Executive officers  of Ikuku-oma Apostles, Ikwuano LGA executives, the leader of Ikwuano LGA  Legislative Council,  Hon. Obinna Agaodi; And other councillors;  House of Assembly aspirant,  Dr. David Onyenucheya, and several  others
