  As a move to avoid further collateral damages, Anambra Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has ordered immediate shut down of all the Twenty-one Local Government Secretariats in the state. The order which was made this weekend came on the heels of killing and arson  perpetrated by suspected Unknown Gunmen in the last one week.                       

At Nnewi South Secretariat, the security personnel was killed and two buildings burnt. Gumen,  last Thursday,  struck at Soludo's Aguata Local Government Headquarters at Ekwulobia, burning two vehicles and three buildings including two-winged Two storey buildings and security putsch.   

  Investigation by Dailyledger.com.ng revealed that a  faceless group had a fortnight ago written a "Too Whom It May Concern" Letter warning workers the danger of coming to work. The warning which came before the burning of the two secretariats, it was learnt, may have informed Soludo's action to shut the Councils down until further notice.
