It's double honours as Africa’s premier Brand Strategist and Engagement Consultant, Charles O’Tudor, was on Friday, Oct. 28 conferred with an honorary doctorate degree in Brand Strategy and Management from Prowess University, Delaware, USA.


He was also honoured with the prestigious Global Good Governance Ambassadors Award.


 This honours were in recognition of  Charles O’Tudor’s consistent contribution to transforming personal and corporate brands across Africa for over two decades.

The event which took place in Abuja, Nigeria was witnessed by some of the most extraordinary minds in medicine, politics, public administration, brand management and business.


Charles O’Tudor etched his name amongst Nigeria's renown Brand Strategists,  having spent two decades building, disrupting, and investing his mind and resources into African startups and some of the most recognised high flying global brands.


At the event,  O'Tudor, who is often referred to as the ‘godfather of branding’ amongst his protégés, was also inducted as an affiliate member, Global Institute of Leadership and Governance, South Africa, while receiving the Global Good Governance Ambassadors Awards, which celebrates individuals, governments, public and private institutions and NGOs that demonstrate making governance and sustainability a strategic priority of their organisations.


As the Group Principal Consultant at ADSTRAT BMC, a brand management firm that focuses on depth of content, authenticity and empirical facts to create transformative strategies for clients, O’Tudor has rewritten the story of failure for hundreds of brands globally.


The Governing Council of the Prowess University by conferring the award on him,  recognised  O’Tudor’s unprecedented contribution to brand management, corporate and personal branding, national development, leadership, mentorship and his influence in using strategy to transform politics locally.


 O’Tudor is an alumnus of the prestigious Wits Business School, South Africa, University of Jos, Nigeria and the School of Policy, Politics and Governance [SPPG].


 He is also a Judge at Jack Ma Foundation’s flagship philanthropic program in Africa, ‘’African Business Heroes’’, a mentor under the U.S. Consulate General for the White House Initiative - Academy For Women Entrepreneurs, a Judge at Street Foodz Naija reality TV show, member of faculty, CITC Leadership Centre, member of the Advisory Board at Vivacity Global and The B.I.E.L initiative, The Hague, Netherlands and the Chairman of The CharlesO’Tudor Foundation.
