Rep Sam Onuigbo and his wife,  Pastor Princess Chinyere Onuigbo JP were on  Saturday October 29, 2022, special guests at the Silver Jubilee Anniversary/Launching for Empowerment Scheme of the Oboro Clan Welfare Association, OCWA, (Women’s Wing), Abuja branch. 


At the event, the member representing Ikwuano Umuahia N/S Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives promised OCWA, Women's wing, Abuja that he "...will continue to offer whatever support that is within my disposal. The support I and my wife,  provided today will be part of an ongoing process. Long may it continue.


"I  and my wife are proud to associate with them especially on the longevity of the association and their commitment towards providing support for community", the lawmaker remarked 


Rep Onuigbo further applauded the Women for  their sense of community and organisation which he described as   Igbo women's   unique selling point, setting them apart from other women and consistently serving  as a framework for peace building, development, and unity in Igbo communities.


Such attributes, according to Rep Onuigbo, plus his  pro-community-centered inclinations imbues him with  utmost respect for the critical role our women play on our communities


"I have always been part and  parcel of women development efforts, providing support here, helping them with mobilisation there. In my own little way, I have also provided empowerment for women while also attracting projects (markets, electricity, water, road, etc) which directly address their specific requests. This will never stop", he affirmed and wished the OCWA Women more success
