Abia State Governor,  Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the dissolution  of the 17 Local Government Area Chairmen. This follows the expiration of their tenure after two years in office. 


The Governor in a message signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem thanked them for their services and wished them well in their future endeavors.


The Governor further directs that they hand over to the Head of Service of their various Local Government Council.


The dissolution takes immediate effect
