The Abia State PDP on Friday dismissed reports that it had  announced any  date for it's Governorship primary election.


Sources from the Abia PDP Secretariat informed dailyledger.com.ng that  a post on the social media arm from which daily ledger.com.ng based it's earlier story was not am official party communication and should therefore be ignored.


Following the death of Prof Uche Ikonne, it's flagbearer, INEC has directed the party to organize a new primary within 14 days.
