The Ukwa la Ngwa Council of Elders on Tuesday dismissed Hon  Acho  Nwakanma  as a busybody and meddlesome interloper with no right to comment on it's affairs having since October, 2022, been sacked, removed and replaced  as  a Trustee of the  Council 


The Leader and  Chairman  of the Council, Dr Max Nduaguibe in a press release stated that Hon  Nwakanma and a group of his PDP followers parted ways with the Elders Council since  Sept 14, 2022 when they  endorsed Prof  Uche Ikonne as their choice candidate for the governorship of their Party.


"What right does  he,   as an expelled member to contest the adoption and endorsement of Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor of Abia  YPP as the sole governorship candidate of Ukwa la Ngwa Council of Elders ?", Nduaguibe queried in the statement which was accompanied by the Council's Certificate of Incorporation, with registration number 175308.


Nwakanma's name did not feature in the certificate as one of the 3-man Trustee.


Dailyledger.com.ng reports that following the endorsement of the YPP flagbearer as it's choice governorship candidate, Nwakanma issued a counter statement purportedly on behalf of the Council 


 However, Nduaguibe in his reaction urged Abians to consider Nwakanma's position as the childish vituperation of  a busybody and meddlesome interloper
