Hon Darlington Nwokocha 


The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Chinedum Orji of the PDP lost his bid for Ikwuano/Umuahia N/S Federal Constituency to Chief Obi Aguocha of  Labour Party Party who emerged triumphant with 14,316 votes to his 9,286 votes.




The  PDP also lost the  Abia Central Senatorial district to Labour Party's the Hon Darlington Nwokocha who won with  12,310 votes  to 6,970 votes won by Col Austin Akobundu, rtd of PDP
