Dr Alex Otti 


The governorship candidate of APGA, Prof Greg Ibe has sent a letter of congratulations to Dr Alex Otti of Labour Party maintaining that he has satisfied the requisite requirements of  the electoral guidelines to be declared the governor-elect of Abia State.


In a press statement, he personally signed, Prof Ibe stated that reports from his Campaign Organization's Situation Room observed unique malfeasance and non deployment of BVAS machines in Obingwa LGA and several others.


While urging Abians to remain calm pending resolution of the stalemate over the non-declaration of the winner from the March 18 governorship election, Prof Ibe acknowledge that Otti has garnered sufficient votes to emerge victorious.


In the letter of congratulations, he described Otti's victory as well deserved and acknowledged his consistency to liberate Abia from the shackles of under-development.


Prof Ibe further urged INEC to not only resolve the current impasse, but to equally eliminate obvious cases of fraud and ensure that the process complies significantly with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2022
