Osinachi Nwaka during the Inauguration 


The Deputy Leader and General Coordinator of New Era Foundation, Pastor Mike Iheanyi Nwaka has reiterated that the Foundation is out to empower indigent persons and extend financial assistance to enterprising youths irrespective of their political affiliation.


"We are non-governmental, but we will partner with government and other stakeholders in poverty alleviation.

"Beyond empowering widows and orphans, we would also empower youths by offering them training in entrepreneurship and human resources development. Those in small scale businesses, with entrepreneural skills who lack funding would be assisted with take-off capital", Pastor Mike explained.

He added that the Foundation is non-political and it's membership open to all Ikwuano persons. "No, we would not operate on the basis of political party affiliation. Of course our Founder/President, Osinachi Nwaka and my good self belong to the Labour Party, LP, but New Era Foundation's mission is 'To serve humanity selflessly by touching lives and building our communities'




Dailyledger.com.ng reports that during the inauguration of the Foundation on Saturday, June 3, it's Founder/ President, Mr Osinachi Nwaka declared that the modus operandi would be in line with the catchphrase of the Alex Otti administration 'Help has come ' or as translated in Igbo: 'Odiwonma'

Among other activities witnessed during the inauguration was the presentation of a brand new Toyota Sienna vehicle, branded with the logo and colours  to the Executive of the Foundation to assist them in their day to day operations
