The recent granting  of a  license for the establishment of Amadeus University, Amizi, Ikwuano LGA has elicited jubilation and excitement in Hon Alozie Ajiri.

Ajiri, an entrepreneur and politician also applauded the Founder/Pro Chancellor of Amadeus University, Dr Godwin Nwabunka for siting the University in his community, an action he explained would fast track the socio-economic development of Amizi in particular and Ikwuano LGA in general.




"First and foremost, I want to congratulate Dr Godwin Nwabunka for the license granted him for the establishment of his private University.




"Secondly, I wish to applaud his courage in bringing this gigantic project to his community. I see it as an act of someone who truly loves his people and is interested in the development. I say this because the University is certain to trigger off multi-layered development both in Amizi, the immediate university community and in Ikwuano LGA generally", Ajiri said in an interview with dailyledger.com.ng

Ajiri who flew YPP's  flag for Ikwuano State Constituency for Abia State House of Assembly further urged other top Ikwuano business tycoon to emulate Nwabunka and locate their businesses in the LG to fast track it's development.

Dailyledger.com.ng reports that Dr Godwin Nwabunka was recently granted a license and approval for the establishment of Amadeus University, Amizi by the National Universities Commission, NUC

Nwabunka, a social entrepreneur and expert in development management is presently the Chief Executive Officer of Grooming Centre, which he founded in 2006 and is dedicated to the empowerment of the poor through sustainable financial intermediation.

Grooming Centre is presently active in 23 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, and has empowered over four million women with microcredit, employing some 3,000 youths.

Dr. Nwabunka is happily married with children.
