The apex leadership committee and the Elders Committee of Aboh-Mbaise PDP has dismissed stories of the so called  'Endorsement of Sen. Samuel Anyanwu  by Aboh Mbaise PDP' as a fictional concoction of a few disgruntled members of the party.

In a press release, Sir Richmond Osuji, on behalf of the Aboh-Mbaise described the so-called endorsement Stakeholders' Committee as an illogicality as  are loyal party members who does not need the to endorse their own governorship candidate

"Let it be known that neither the Apex leadership committee nor the Elders Committee has met to make any 'endorsement'. We are loyal Party members. We do not need to do so. Let there be no factionalization or economic interest induced division in the Aboh-Mbaise PDP", the statement reads in part.

It further added that Senator Samuel Anyanwu is the candidate of the PDP in the governorship election and the issue of his endorsement by any chapter of the party does not arise. "The party in Aboh-Mbaise is a family and we carry out our political programme in unity and discipline.

"Consequently, the action of a few members of the party done in absolute disrespect of our leaders and elders should not be seen as the voice of Aboh-Mbaise PDP and supporters. The procedure for courting support of the people is well known. It is never done behind the leaders and elders of the party who were never consulted before this "endorsement" when there is no dispute over governorship candidature.", it submitted
