The Transition Committee Chairman of Ikwuano LG, Hon Osinachi Nwaka on Friday urged secondary schools administrators in the LG to ensure that Inter-House Sports Competition are brought back as part of the academic programmes of schools.
The Ikwuano Mayor, who was represented by the Deputy Mayor, Hon Chief Charles Ugboajah was speaking at the Inter-House Sports Competition at the Ntalakwu Community Secondary School, Ntalakwu -Oboro

The Deputy Mayor in his remarks applauded stakeholders in the community including HRM King Larry Ogbonna, the Ajata of Ajata-n-Igu Autonomous Community; Former Minister of Science and Technology, , Chief Henry Ikoh; Former member, House of Representatives, Hon Emeka Atumah, Mrs Nwaogbo and several others for their huge contributions to ensure that the school which was once dormant was resuscitated.
Speaking on the occasion of the Inter-House Sports Competition organised by the school administration since it's return, the Deputy Mayor urged other secondary schools in Ikwuano to borrow from their strategy and return Inter-House Sports Competition back to schools in the LG.

In her remarks, the Principal of Ntalakwu Community Secondary School Mrs. Amaike Allswell Goodness said she was sent to Ntalakwu on a recovery mission last year, and that she she met only 3 students, and today, with support from the community, she was able to increase the number of students up to 180 in a space of one year.
