President Bola Tinubu has  approved the appointment of Shehu Mohammed as Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC to replace Biu Dauda Ali Biu

Biu  was appointed by ex president Muhammadu Buhari in July 2022 when the then corps marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi,hÉ  retired from the service.

Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Presidential Villa, disclosed this on Wednesday.

Until the appointment, Mohammed was the Assistant Corps Marshal of the FRSC.

The appointment is for an initial period of four years with effect from 20th May 2024.
