Kazie Uko 


Abia State Governor Alex Otti has fired his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kazie Uko, a seasoned journalist and Public Relations professional, who manned his press alongside Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Special Adviser, Media, during the campaigns.


While no reason could readily be adduced for Uko's sack, dailyledger.com.ng gathered that the former CPS does not appear to have established a harmonious relationship with the Umuahia Press. Government House sources said that Uko's low rating from his colleagues came to the Gov Otti's attention during a public outing when the governor mentioned 'Kazie Uko" and his colleagues reacted with jeers of disapproval, a reaction which reportedly shocked the governor.

It could not be immediately confirmed whether Uko had been reassigned or sacked outright from the Otti's administration.

Meanwhile, Njoku Ukoha has been announced as the new CPS, but not much is known about him yet
