The Transition Committee Chairman of Ikwuano LGA, Hon. Osinachi Nwaka on Friday discussed  with  traditional rulers in his domain on the dynamics of laying a solid foundation for sustainable development in the LG



The Ikwuano Mayor, receiving  the Royal Fathers in his office, assured them of his commitment towards implementing projects and programs that will  positively impact the community, and described their visit as a significant pointer to  the strong collaboration between the LG administration under his watch and traditional institutions.

Hon Nwaka proffered that his administration had been one of open door policy and highlighted key projects and policy initiatives he had executed with the objectives of enhancing the the living standards and lifestyle of Ikwuano people and residents. Amongst such projects includes rehabilitation of long neglected rural roads to enable farmers access markets for their produce and several social welfare interventions

The Mayor also lauded to the traditional rulers for their unwavering support and fatherly counsels to his administration so far.

Chairman of Ikwuano Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Monday in his remarks applauded  the Mayor for his transformational leadership style and described his re-appointment as an endorsement for a job well done.

The Royal Father maintained that the substantial progress and developmental strides witnessed so far in such  a relatively short period affirms the Mayor's  pragmatic leadership style and dedication to the betterment of Ikwuano LG
