Joyful celebrations have broken out in Amaoba Ime - Oboro,  Ikwuano LGA of Abia State as three children abducted over a month ago were finally united with their parents.

One man who witnessed the whole drama, the pragmatic For Us By Us FUBU Movement leader,  Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu has taken to his social media page to appreciate the outstanding work of Hon Osinachi Nwaka, the Transition Committee Chairman of Ikwuano LGA of Abia State over his proactive leadership role in ensuring the recovery of three children.

"Your dedication and commitment to the safety and well-being of our community's children are truly commendable. Regardless of party affiliation, it is evident that when a leader is genuinely committed to their work, remarkable results show. Your actions have demonstrated exceptional leadership and care for our community", Ishionwu declared in a post on his social media arm

Today, Thursday June 13, after over a month of being declared missing, the last of the three missing Osinachi siblings, Israel aged four was finally United with his parents


The return of Israel ends the saga of the three missing Osinachi siblings. Today all three children of Osinachi Udo Chijioke - Gideon, aged 8; Divine, aged 6; and Israel all abducted on May 10, 2024, are all  back home.

Ishionwu, in whose compound the drama started by his post expresses sincere appreciations to the Ikwuano Mayor who took it as a personal burden in the search for the missing children.


Excerpts from Ugwumba Ishionwu's letter reads as follows:

"Dear Mayor of Ikwuano and the Amaoba Security Team,


"I am writing to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your outstanding efforts in ensuring the successful return of our children. As an Amaoba son, an Umuohia son, and particularly as an Ezi Ezeri son, I am profoundly elated by this outcome.


"Your dedication and commitment to the safety and well-being of our community's children are truly commendable. Regardless of party affiliation, it is evident when a leader is genuinely committed to their work. Your actions have demonstrated exceptional leadership and care for our community.


"Thank you once again for your remarkable work

In a related development, another Ikwuano son in the Diaspora, Dr Ifeanyi Uke also applauded to the Ikwuano Mayor saying: "Mayor Ossy "talk na do"  Nwaka. You are the man!! I will personally fly down there just to shake your hand for taking the safety of the kids and umu ikwuano to heart.  Thank you sir! You have earned an indelible spot in my book ndikom!
