Amadeus University, Amizi - Ikwuano in Abia State is ready to capture its share of University education market with a unique selling edge in Computing and Health Sciences even as it announces September 2024 as it's take-off date.


The recently licensed University, equipped with state-of-the-art teaching/learning faculties, 24 hours internet access, a secure, serene learning environment far from the hustle and bustle of boisterous city life will be inaugurated with four faculties and 19 academic programmes approved by the National University Commission, NUC

The University offers conventional university courses, but it is poised to make a difference with its Faculty of Science and Computing which offers a B.Sc in such highly sought for courses like Information Technology; Software Engineering; Cyber Security; Data Security; Forensic Science;  Biotechnology and of course Computer Science 


Another field where Amadeus will make its mark is in the Faculty OF Allied Health Sciences with courses like  B.NSc Nursing Science; BMLS Medical Laboratory Science; B.Sc Public Health and D.Pt Physiotherapy

Conducting journalists on a tour of the university complex, Mr Chijioke Okafor said Amadeus is fully ready to welcome its first set of students in September.


"Our medical and surgical nursing demo rooms, laboratories, well equipped ICT centres, a 500-bed male and female hostels are ready.


"We also have a standard a guest house for visitors,parents/guardians who would be accompanying their children/ward to to the University.


"The admission process is seamless, paper-free and fully digitalised which any intending student can complete right from their homes"


The proprietor and Chancellor of Amadeus University is Dr Godwin Nwabunka, a social entrepreneur and international expert in development management.


 Nwabunka is also   the Chief Executive of the Grooming Centre, which he founded in 2006 and is dedicated to the empowerment of women in SME through sustainable financial intermediation.
