The grassroots mobilisation and pro good governance movement, 'For Us By Us' FUBU Movement on Wednesday announced that it has awarded contract for the immediate installation of 10KVA solar-powered inverter system at Ikwuano General Hospital in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State


FUBU Movement facilitator and leader, Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu told dailyledger com.ng that the project will totally bring to an end the era of lack of electricity to the premier healthcare institution in the LGA.to 


"By providing sustainable and consistent electricity to the General Hospital, we hope to enhance healthcare delivery services to our people


"And of course the project jumpstarts FUBU's 'One.-Clan; One-Project' programme aimed at fast-tracking socio-economic development in the four clans of Ikwuano LG"


Dailyledger.com.ng reports that FUBU Movement has officially written to the Mayor of Ikwuano LG, Hon. Osinachi Nwaka, to inform him of its plan to install the solar powered system 


In July, Ugwumba Ishionwu in a video post on his social media arm said: "We are excited to announce the launch of the 'One-Clan;One-Clan  Project' a FUBU initiative, beginning on August 1, 2024, and running through December 31,  2024. This initiative, rooted in the 'For Us, By Us' philosophy, aims to uplift each clan with a dedicated project.


He urged all and sundry to be part of the programme whose objectives is to build a stronger and more vibrant Ikwuano. "We invite all community members to send in their project ideas and requests for their respective clans. Rest assured, every project will be completed by December 31, 2024. Together, let's build a stronger, more vibrant Ikwuano"
