As intrigues and manoeuvres unfold towards the emergence of Labour Party, LP Chairmanship candidate for the yet to be scheduled LG elections, the  Ikwuano LG LP chairman, Mr Bright Nwagbo has emerged as the first casualty as indefinite suspension had been slammed on him  for anti-party activities by his Oboro Ward I Executive.



In a letter signed by Oboro Ward I chairman and secretary, Messrs  Sunday Nwamama Okey and Tochukwu Nnabuko respectively,  the LG Chairman, Nwagbo was accused of misconduct, insubordination, anti-party activities and therefore placed on suspension. Other members of the ward Exco also signed the suspension letter 



The letter advised Nwagbo to cooperate with a Disciplinary Panel which has been set up to investigate the allegations against him.


Dailyledger.com.ng gathered that Nwagbo's suspension is not unconnected with his alleged romance with one of those plotting to emerge the LP Chairmanship candidate once the whistle is blown for the LG election


Our reporter gathered that so far that three aspirants had indicated Interest in the chairmanship position leading to a keen contest among them to have the upper hand ahead the primaries to produce the chairmanship candidate
