In line with its mission of good governance and socio-economic development at all levels the For Us By Us, FUBU Movement has taken steps to ensure a peaceful and secure environment during the Yuletide season in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State.

Dailyledger.ng.com reports that the Movement on Tuesday, Dec 17 donated a desktop computer, along with an office desk and chair. The office equipment was received by the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ikwuano LG, Mr Nicholas Ewoh.
In his remarks during the presentation, a FUBU official, Mr Abia Alugwe said the office equipment was facilitated by the Convener of the FUBU Movement, Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu as his contribution towards encouraging the Police and in accordance with FUBU's mission of "... taking action to create the change we want to see"
"The FUBU Movement Convener, Ugwumba Chika Ishionwu is security conscious person and pro-community development oriented and believes all hands should be on deck to encourage our security agencies", Alugwe said
He further adde: "This gesture reflects our belief that true progress and development can only thrive in a safe and secure environment and to aid the efficiency and operations of our local security personnel
"We understand that security is not just the responsibility of the forces alone but a collective effort. Together, we will work hand in hand to make Ikwuano LGA a safer place for our families, visitors, and everyone returning home for the Yuletide celebrations
“A community thrives when its people rise to take responsibility. For Us, By Us, we are the guardians of our own peace and progress. Let us continue to unite and support each other, for only then can we build a better and safer future for Ikwuano", he affirmed
In his remarks, DPO Ewoh appreciated the FUBU Movement and Ugwumba Ishionwu for the gift and urged other well meaning citizens to emulate their good example
