The Ikwuano Distinguished Personalities Award 2024  which held on Dec. 30, 2024  was an unveiling and  grand celebration of Ikwuano's best in excellence and community service 


The  prestigious event took the shine off politically organised events and from an unbiased point of view recognised and honoured outstanding individuals who have made and continues to make remarkable contributions to the development and progress of Ala Ikwuano through innovative strategies and impactful interventions.



Among the distinguished awardees were notable figures celebrated for their efforts in various fields, including education, leadership, community development, and economic innovation. These individuals were commended for their commitment to uplifting Ikwuano and their dedication to fostering growth and opportunities within the local government.




The recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for acknowledging their efforts, describing the recognition as both inspiring and motivating. They lauded the Ikwuano Elite Forum for emerging as a key force in shaping policies and championing initiatives that advance the well-being of the people. Many took the opportunity to pledge further commitment to enhancing the socio-economic landscape of Ikwuano, with some hinting at exciting new projects on the horizon.


The ceremony was a resounding success by any standard and the credit goes to the hardwork, creativity and can-do spirit of the Administrators of the Ikwuano Elite Forum, a social media platform (WhatsApp) which has become the place to be for all Ikwuano people home and abroad.


The lasting lessons from this inaugural event is an envisioned brighter future for Ikwuano LG as showcasing all that is beautiful, excellent and worthy is expected to motivate others to put their best foot forward for the overall development of the LG
