Executive Chairman of Isiukwuato LGA, Hon Chinedu Ekeke has been elected  the Chairman of the Abia State Chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON). 


His emergence as Abia  ALGON Chairman followed an election conducted among the recently elected Executive Chairmen of the 17 LGAs of  Abia State.


Ekeke’s political journey began  from his days as a student leader to becoming the Deputy Chief of Staff in the office of the Deputy Governor of Abia State. 


Ekeke was elected as the Executive Mayor of Isiukwuato LGA in the Nov 2024  local government elections conducted by the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC).
