Hon Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga




The Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Honourable Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, has passed on.


LShe represented the Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Federal Constituency in Ogun State.


A  member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), she was serving her second term as a lawmaker.


During the 9th Assembly, Hon. Onanuga chaired the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development. Following the inauguration of the 10th House of Representatives, she was appointed Deputy Chief Whip, a role she held until her untimely death.
