 TheDream.US National Scholarship

This scholarship provides funding for DACA and TPS recipients pursuing undergraduate degrees, including nursing.

1. The NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP is for students eligible for in-state tuition at one of our close to 80 Partner Colleges.*

Applications are open to immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2019, and qualify for in-state tuition at one of our Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship. We also offer an online college option. The Scholarship is for up to $16,500 for an associate’s degree and $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree. The program key code is: Dream

2. The OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP is for students who live in targeted, locked-out states where they cannot get in-state tuition.

Applications are open to immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2019, and be admitted to one of our Opportunity Partner Colleges to receive this scholarship. The Scholarship is for up to $100,000 to cover tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meals for a bachelor’s degree. The program key code is: DreamOpportunity 

Here are the criteria:

  • You are undocumented and came to the United States before November 1, 2019, and have continuously lived in the United States since then or have DACA or TPS;
  • Came to the United States before the age of 16 (if you were born in the U.S. – you are not eligible for our scholarship);
  • Have significant unmet financial need;
  • Have graduated or will graduate from a United States high school (or have earned or will earn a high school equivalency diploma) before the Fall of 2025;
  • Graduated or will graduate with a high school GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale or have a cumulative college GPA of 2.5 or better;
  • Intend to enroll full-time in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at a Partner College in your state in the Fall of 2025 or Spring of 2026; and
  • Are eligible for in-state tuition at the Partner College you want to attend (not applicable if it is a private Partner College in your state).
