Nigerians In UK Risk Mass Deportation As Kemi Badenoch Launches Plan To Deport 150,000 Illegal Migrants

Nigerians and other immigrants living illegally in the United Kingdom could soon face large-scale deportation, following new measures announced by Kemi Badenoch, leader of the UK Conservative Party.

In a video message shared on her official X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, Badenoch revealed plans to establish a new “Removals Force”, inspired by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, to intensify the country’s crackdown on illegal migration.

The Conservative leader criticised previous administrations both Conservative and Labour for failing to address the growing migration crisis, accusing Labour in particular of overseeing record numbers of illegal entries and spending excessively on asylum accommodation.

Announcing what she called the “Radical Borders Plan,” Badenoch described it as the toughest set of immigration reforms in Britain’s history.

She said:

“Today, I’m launching our Radical Borders Plan, the toughest reforms Britain has ever seen to border laws and operations. Successive governments have failed on immigration. Labour promised to smash the gangs. Only the Conservatives have the courage and clarity to fix this.

“My message is simple: if you are in the UK illegally, you will be detained and deported. Britain needs a serious, credible plan and the strength to carry it out.”
