Reporters Without Borders is hiring a data journalist
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is recruiting a Data Journalist to lead the collection and analysis of statistical data for the annual World Press Freedom Index.
As part of the editorial team, you will manage the full project cycle of this key RSF publication and contribute to the organisation’s data-driven storytelling and impact strategy.
RSF is looking for someone with a background in data journalism, statistics, or project management, and experience using tools such as Excel, Python, and Datawrapper. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and translating them into compelling stories or visuals.
Strong writing skills in English, attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and several years of experience as a data journalist are essential. A solid understanding of press freedom issues and a passion for international journalism will be key assets in this role
