  • The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a graduate scholarship that provides students with the mentorship, interdisciplinary learning, and global community they need to impact the world.

  • The McCall Macbain Scholars pursue a funded master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University while participating in an interdisciplinary leadership program.

What does the scholarship cover?

  • Tuition and fees
  • A living stipend of CAD 2300 per month during the academic term
  • A one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal
  • Beginner to advanced French language courses offered through McGill

How many scholarships are given?

  • 20 Canadian and 10 international full scholarships

Am I Eligible to Apply?

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

  • meet the minimum degree and language requirements for a master’s program at McGill University;
  • have a bachelor’s degree or its recognized equivalent, or be on track to complete your bachelor’s degree by August 2026;
  • be 30 years or younger on January 1, 2025;
  • have earned your bachelor’s degree in the last five years. 

How Do I Apply – Next Steps

  • You must apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship before you apply for the graduate program.
  • The McGill application is separate from the scholarship application.
  • Make sure you submit your completed application early enough.
